Select Observation Mode

Choose one observation context. Characters from different modes cannot be mixed.

How to Use This Module

  • Strict Observation Mode: You must choose either Adult Worm or Egg morphology at the beginning. These modes are epistemically separate and cannot be mixed.
  • Character Selection: Select only characters you can clearly observe. Use "Not sure" for ambiguous characters.
  • Scoring System: S3 characters carry the most weight, followed by S2 and S1. Mismatches result in penalties.
  • Confidence Levels: Based on number of valid characters selected and match ratios within the chosen observation mode.
  • Educational Purpose: This tool is for assisted identification in educational contexts, not for clinical diagnosis.
